Every spring, the lakeside town of Morges in Switzerland bursts into bloom during the Tulip Festival—and in 2025, Marco the Marmot came to see it for himself!
With his little vintage camera and nose twitching with excitement, Marco strolled into Parc de l'Indépendance, where over 140,000 tulips danced in the breeze. The park, right by Lake Geneva, was full of colors, sweet smells, and happy visitors—just perfect for a curious marmot on an adventure.
Marco rolled in the grass, sniffed tulips in every color, and even called himself a “Flower Critic.” His review? “10 out of 10—smells like sunshine!”
As the parade passed by with music, costumes, and a horse-drawn carriage, Marco danced, twirled, and watched in wonder. Later, a group of kids spotted him and quickly became his biggest fans, lining up for hugs, high-fives, and giggles.
Before heading home, Marco stopped at La Tulipe Café for a scoop of ice cream and a quiet moment under the trees. With his belly full and heart happy, he stretched out on the grass, camera by his side, and smiled.

So if you're in Switzerland in spring, don’t miss the Morges Tulip Festival. It’s full of flowers, fun, and maybe—even a marmot named Marco!
